MSM

MSM and its roles:

  • antioxidant
  • buffer
  • support of connective tissues (tendons, ligaments,…)
  • insure a good and fluid movement
  • support immunity
  • anti-inflammatory

Methyl-sulfonyl-methane is a sulphurated molecule. Its effects are connected to its capacity to supply a –SH group endowed with antioxidant properties. Moreover it is able to buffer the pH value of physiological fluids, which is of some interest for sport horses.

These two characteristics help to achieve a certain suppleness of movement in horses at work. The quality of this raw material is very important because it is very often contaminated by prohibited substances according to equestrian rules. TWYDIL® controls every batch of production.
