It is important to ensure the feed includes a variety of materials to encourage appetite, maintain good gut flow, promote intestinal fermentation and bioavailability of all macro- and micro-nutrients.
TWYDIL® has studied the nutritional integration of:
Arginine and its roles:
Arginine may be a key nutritional component:
Arginine is classified as a conditionally non-essential amino acid meaning that under most conditions it can either be synthesised in the body or replaced by other amino acids. It is used as the first unit (starter) for many proteins. In case of a lack of arginine, lysine may replace it.
Arginine is also a precursor of nitric oxide (NO) which is a paracrine substance promoting vasodilatation. So it has the ability to modulate the blood stream and allow a better supply to areas in need of oxygen. This effect is very important for performance. NO is also an important neurotransmitter.
Supports the microcirculation. Helps the body’s natural defences.
