We draw your attention to the new rules on prohibited substances for racing and the new withdrawal periods that TWYDIL® has established for two products of our range.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION : ELEUTHEROSIDES AND HARPAGOSIDES.

On April 5th, the French National Racing Federation once again declared in a communiqué that Eleutherococcus senticosus and Harpagophytum procumbens fall into the category of substances prohibited by the racing code.
TWYDIL® reminds its clients that, for TWYDIL® HIPPACAN+C and TWYDIL® ARTRIDIL, the official withdrawal period of 48 hours must be respected.
This withdrawal period was determined after scientific tests conducted two years ago with LCH (Central laboratory of the International equestrian federation and official French laboratory of anti-doping control for animals) and consequently is an official insurance that TWYDIL® HIPPACAN+C and TWYDIL® ARTRIDIL can be given in full safety at the recommended quantities until 48 hours before any competition.

TWYDIL® recommends sharpest vigilance about the use of products which –though they contain one of the substances mentioned above- either do not indicate any waiting time in their labelling or have not undergone any residue studies.

TWYDIL® ARTRIDIL, AT LAST A THOROUGHLY TESTED JOINT PRODUCT.

After complete reformulation, TWYDIL® ARTRIDIL has recently been tested in a double blind scientific trial conducted by Professor Kirschvink.
The study, recently presented at the Geneva veterinary congress, showed that, in comparison with a placebo group, TWYDIL® ARTRIDIL decreases the metalloproteinase (MMP9) activity – which is the main cause of cartilage destruction - and stabilizes chondrocytes.
TWYDIL® ARTRIDIL helps to support healthy joints and to maintain joint mobility.
TWYDIL® ARTRIDIL is particularly recommended for any horses under hard training and competition.
Other very good news, thanks to a new manufacturing process the cost of this world reference chondroprotector has been considerably reduced.

TWYDIL® HEMATINIC, PROVEN EFFECT ON HAEMATOLOGICAL PARAMETERS.
TWYDIL® HEMATINIC syringes now have larger nozzles in order to squeeze the paste more easily even when the ambient temperature is cold.
TWYDIL® HEMATINIC is also available in liquid form in bottles.
TWYDIL® HEMATINIC remains also available in 1 litre bottles with a less viscous liquid than previously.
TWYDIL® HEMATINIC supplied orally for only 10 days results in optimum erythrocyte function.
TWYDIL® HEMATINIC is particularly useful for horses in poor condition or needing a tonic effect and, of course, for those with pale mucosa.

TWYDIL® RACING, THE 26 INDISPENSABLE INGREDIENTS.

In response to the current demand, TWYDIL® 4LEGS is now available in 7.5 kg buckets and, of course, continues to be available in 2 kg buckets.

Also, TWYDIL® GROWING previously available only in 3 kg will also be available in 10 kg buckets in the future.

MORE THAN 70 COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD.
During recent months, several countries such as, Mauritius, South Korea, Bahrain, Iran, and Malta have been added to the list of countries where TWYDIL® products are locally distributed.

UNIQUE ANTIDOPING CERTIFICATES.
While most feed supplements are sold without any doping controls or just with the assurance they do not contain any contaminants, TWYDIL® asks LCH (Central laboratory of the International equestrian federation and official French laboratory of anti-doping control for animals) to check that each production batch of every TWYDIL® product does not contain any of the several thousand prohibited substances (after controls on final product but also on urine and blood of horses having received an overage of the batch).
As far as we know, these precautions are unique in the world.
